Every kit is hand-laid in 3K twill carbon fibre, available in Gloss or Matte finish, with no fibreglass in the layup. That means a smoother internal surface as well as a better-looking finish, which helps reduce turbulence and improve airflow into the engine.
The numbers back this up. Filter surface area is up 49% over the stock unit, and the intake pipes see an average 23% increase in air flow volume, with the crossover pipe seeing a 38% gain and the turbo side pipe up 7%. The result is a sharper throttle response and improved turbo spool.
The induction sound is more noticeable too, giving the car a more engaging character without affecting everyday drivability.
Hardware is machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminium, and everything needed for installation is included in the box. It's a straightforward bolt-on fit for the G8x M2, M3 and M4, with no permanent modifications required.
