MMX Performance Front Lowering Springs for BMW M3 G81

The MMX Front Lowering Springs (MMR08-1610) take a different approach to the G81 M3 Touring than our saloon kit. The Touring carries its weight differently to the G80, and its rear already sits low, so a conventional front and rear spring set would take the back end too far and leave the car unbalanced. The issue sits at the front, where the factory ride height leaves a visible arch gap and a nose-high stance.

By replacing only the front springs, the front end comes down by 25mm and the car settles level from front to rear. The lower front reduces the centre of gravity and body roll, giving a lighter, more direct feel on turn-in, while the carefully selected progressive rates keep the ride composed at lower speeds. The rear of the car is left on its factory springs, so the Touring’s load-carrying character and rear ride height are unchanged.

The approach is built on the MMX Lowering Springs for G80 M3 (MMR08-1601 RWD, MMR08-1604 xDrive), one of the most established products in the MMX range for its balance of handling, stance and everyday ride quality. On the Touring, it pairs naturally with the MMX Underbody Chassis Brace (MMR13-1601) for owners building a sharper, more cohesive G8x chassis.
