BMW Service Schedule is officially ‘Sealed for life’ However we recommend depending on use and power levels, we recommend the M cars to have their Gearbox serviced Every 5 Years / 50k

This service includes the following:

Genuine BMW Side Filter
Millers CRX NT+ Gearbox oil
Gearbox oil level checked

When carrying out the Gearbox service, we drain all oil where possible, without sump removal, we are able to change approximately 2 litres less oil than our Major service, which includes these extra items. Once the side Filter is replaced we refill the Gearbox with the correct amount of Oil.
